Итого. Оригинальная ось была монолитной, из стали специальной марки и с термичечки упрочненной поверхностью. После ремонта она состоит из нескольких кусков непонятного химического состава. Прогрев от сварки снизил прочность даже там где она все еще была. Это не ремонт, это клоунада.

Never a good idea to weld in your lathe with the current going through the heads stock bearings. Imagine millions of arcs across your nice shiny bearings. I can also imagine to get an axel repaired here in Australia. When the laughing finally died down and the dead mechanics were dragged off. (From laughing) They would say “You want what?” Insert another laughing cycle. You’d have a snow flakes hope in hell of getting anyone to event entertain the idea.

As you keep me in lots of work, so I do not have to work over at the call center scamming filthy American’s out of their money as a fake IBM service tech! Punjab: Yeah Naser. I do not care for that either, as selling reconditioned automotive parts that are faulty pays better, I just hope the truck this goes into does not hit me when it breaks again.

This is the most sloppy repair I've ever seen in my life. Apart from that, he wasn't wearing eye protection or hand protection from UV light from the welding. This is grade Z engineering in every respect. That repair will have a minimal life.

very well done. The non use of cutting oil did bother me but not near as bad as not covering the ways on the lathe before welding. Why be so hard on some pretty nice equipment. But no doubt a solid fix

Vehicle now must be driven under certain conditions. 1000 rpm normal not exceeding 1300 rpm max. No uphill drive, no engine braking, no quick clutch release and 90 kg payload...until sold.😅
